Example- Your Business Blog & Local Search

I wrote Sarasota, Florida Business Owners, You Need a Web Site and SEO. You Need a Solid Web Presence on the 13th. It needed to be said, but I also wanted to be able to show people how their blog could help them in local search results.

Yesterday this article was on the 1st page of Google for the following phrases:

Sarasota florida business
Sarasota florida business owners
Sarasota business SEO
seo Sarasota business
Suncoast Defensive Driving School (didn’t want this one- just happened)

Will anyone ever type those phrases in? Probably not, but I believe you can see how your blog can be very helpful to your business in regards to local search. Blog about your services and your local area and see where you end up in the SERPs.

How long will these results last? I don’t know. I was just trying to make a quick point…
