About the Owner of SEO Aware, LLC – Melissa Fach
Melissa earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude, and Master’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the College of Education (Counselor Education) at the University of South Florida.
After the birth of her second child Melissa decided to change her career focus. She created a copywriting business and she quickly realized how important SEO Copywriting had become. Educating herself on the ins and outs of SEO Copywriting Melissa soon learned that learning how websites are coded was an important skill. Obviously, Search Engine Optimization skills were also needed. One skill snowballed into several and Melissa spent two solid years studying everything that related to the Web, SEO and Internet Marketing. Through this knowledge, Melissa learned that many business websites were actually hurting companies on the web and she started to blog about her thoughts. It was the blogging that skyrocketed her SEO career. Her articles were published or cited on various SEO news sites and businesses throughout the United States started calling.
For the last 10 years, Melissa has worked as a consultant to help businesses create an effective presence on the web while expanding her skillsets. She has worked as the Managing Editor of Search Engine Journal, on the Community and Social Team at Moz and as Social & Community Manager of Pubcon.
Melissa lives in Sarasota with her husband. After 30 fantastic years together they have two beautiful sons, 4 cats and work remotely with various companies throughout the U.S. Melissa has created a successful Internet Marketing business that focuses on educating clients, being honest with clients and creating an effective web presence for each client.
