When I first saw the Shake Weight on TV I thought it was just one more exercise thing being offered and ignored it. I kept seeing the commercials and one night my husband and I talked about it during the commercial. He said, “I see how it could work.” He use to be a weight lifter, so I believed him. I saw it at Bed Bath and Beyond and bought one (w/a coupon .

In 2009 we doubled the revenue at SEO Aware. As of June of this year we have already doubled what we made in 2009. What we have found is that our consulting services are helping companies move in effective directions that help them convert. We are showing them ways to draw in a larger audience that is interested in the services they provide. We are using more Sociology and Psychology to increase our odds of...

I am not sure if I am getting too irritated or if this is just a difficult concept for people to understand. I have had like 10 conversations this week with people that do not understand that traffic is just that, traffic. It doesn’t mean that it is “quality” traffic- traffic that will convert to sales/money/income.
Without research, a marketing plan and goals beyond “getting more traffic”,...

We are often asked why bother doing both…our answer is why not? Well, both don’t work for everyone, but they work for many. Of course your business needs to plan out your marketing strategies for the next month, 3 months, 6 months etc. Then you need to determine how to bring in potential clients/customers and convert.
Blogs, emails and videos can help!

I think it is really important for businesses to understand that there is an assortment of ways to get potential clients to your site, but just getting someone there is not enough! How do we get them to trust you enough to invest in services or products?
Have you considered the fact that photos of what you do may not be enough?
I have had many potential and new clients contact me in this past 2 weeks asking...

I tell businesses all the time that they need to be blogging. I get the same questions all the time, “What should we write about?”. Well, I am actually blogging about my first suggestion, answer your clients questions!
Why People Read Blogs
People read blogs for information, credible information from experts! If you are an expert in your field you should be writing about what you do. Pool companies,...

We all know this country is having a pretty rough time economically. Even if your business is doing fine the increase in cost for food, gas and home items has gone way up.
Consumers are looking for a deal and consumers are looking at the Internet to research products even more because they spend less money on gas. Adding reviews to products to on your site is always plus, but I am sure you know that.

Jim McNatt has been in the automotive business for over 40 years. He has created extremely successful car dealerships and sold them for record breaking amounts. I chose the owner of the McNatt Auto Group for this interview because he is shockingly Internet savvy for his age group (not saying he is old; just advanced for his generation).
Jim McNatt’s dealerships focus on providing superior service and...

There are many ways to creatively advertise online, but you want to know what draws me into small businesses or those offering services I need? Online payments. I am not good at getting the checks out on time. Most of my bills are automatically withdrawn from my bank account, but my lawn mowing company can’t receive payments online and my previous pool servicing company didn’t either. My new pool...

Allow Reviews of Products
I really don’t buy anything until I research and read reviews. I got the Flip 60 minute video camera for my son strictly because of the reviews on Amazon. I bought a new Palm Treo because of reviews on CNET. I don’t buy a toy for my little one without looking at reviews Amazon, Target and KB Toys. If you can find a way to let people review products on your site it will...
