The yellow pages phone directories magically arrived in my neighborhood. I looked at the book sitting in my drive way, picked it up, and immediately tossed it in my recycling bin! That got wondering how many other people immediately throw out their yellow pages phone directory. So, I decided I would investigate this on the day before trash pickup.
Here’s what I found with 10 of my neighbors:

If you are small to medium sized business there are somethings you need to really think about when you are thinking about a budget for a new Web site. I have had many discussions with my Web designer and she has pointed out a lot of great points that I would like to share. She and I both get calls from people that say they want something really cheap and believe me, I understand, but if you look at the big...

I keep seeing the same situation over and over, super intelligent people have a great idea and create a Web site, blog or interactive Web solution. Often the ideas are fantastic, but Web users come across the site and look around a bit and don’t get it. Why? Because there is no clarity. If you have an idea and you create a Web site, an interactive site, or whatever else, please do not design the site focusing...

The Trust Factors
SEO Aware believes you should be focused on creating trust with potential, and current, clients. Web users look at a Web site and in about 3-5 seconds determine if they want to stay or leave.
The appearance of your Web site is the 1st Trust Factor. A professional and/or visually appealing Web site can begin to create trust. I am sure you go to sites that are not as modern or as professional...

To start, let me say that this post does not include every web designer or web design company.
Background

Well, I have some ideas. A few days back I wrote “Looking for the PERFECT Color Scheme For Your Web Site, Company Colors or Blog???“. The article– How Using a Templated Website Hurts your Business. I think this is completely wrong! Wrong, wrong, wrong! Why? All my businesses use template web sites and I have had great success!
Now, there are some templates that just suck- there really is no other way to say it. They are terrible and they look terrible, BUT there are some template based web sites out there that are really great!

PDFs and Word Documents are used all the time, but there are some things you can do to that will be beneficial to your business and your web site.
When you are naming the PDF or Word document use keywords when naming the file. Do not keyword stuff. Scan through the words in the document and determine what you would like to show up for. Create a proper title and try to fit keywords in there.

I have said it before and I feel I should say it again. Web visitors do not want to work to find the info they are looking for. They don’t want to have to think either. They want the info right infront of them. So, I suggest that you make it as easy as possible for them.
Going to a web site and finding information should almost be effortless. You want people to go and see the info they need right away,
