SEO Aware’s Code of Ethics

  • SEO Aware will be honest, period.
  • We will work hard to produce quality results.
  • We will not engage in any unethical business practices or participate in any black hat SEO tactics.
  • We will follow the search engine guidelines in all practices and maintain knowledge of all changes made to the guidelines.
  • We will not hold clients hostage with long-term contracts.
  • We will work to save our clients as much money as possible.
  • If we are not qualified to complete a task we will tell the client and recommend someone that is qualified.
  • We will not take on more client’s than we can handle at one time.
  • We will not intentionally violate any laws.
  • We will uphold best practices in regards to conflicts of interest.
  • We will take the time to explain our strategies, research and goals. We will educate the client.
  • We will treat people as we would like to be treated. Anyone that works with or is associated with SEO Aware in any way will be treated with respect.
  • We will explain the consequences of certain online behaviors that could hurt a business or person.
  • We will maintain confidentiality.
  • Our prices will come from the amount of work needed only.
  • We will not engage in any form of online marketing that will hurt the reputation of the client.
  • We will not sell services that really are not services at all.
  • We will be an advocate for our clients.
  • We will help the client understand that success is based on a team effort between client and SEO Aware.
  • We will not purposefully harm our clients, our client’s competition or our competitors.
