I posted a video interview where Bruce Clay said ranking was dead on 11-20-08. My Google Toolbar gave a PR of three on that page almost immediately, but I thought it was a fluke. Guess what? It hasn’t gone away. My home page has a 3 and my blog has a 3 and my SEM page has a 2. Over 400 pages indexed and my sitelinks where taken with the last update…but that page with a video that isn’t mine has a Google Toolbar PR of 3.
So, I think what I will do is mention Bruce Clay on each page and each blog post and see if my PR goes up for each page 🙂 Maybe that is the key to helping pages do well! J/K, just a weird quirky thing I would mention.
I did mention Matt Cutts in that post, but I have mentioned him before and no PR for those pages 🙂
